Massachusetts High School Basketball - Melrose tops Arlington
January 25, 2022: Arlington, MA 02476 Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA), 50-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Melrose upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Watertown (Watertown, MA) to play the Red Raiders in a Middlesex bout on Friday, January 28. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Watertown lost 40-33 in their recent league battle against Winchester (Winchester, MA)
The Spy Ponders (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington (Lexington, MA). The Minutemen come into the Middlesex battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Lexington beat Stoneham (Stoneham, MA), 52-45, in a league battle.
