Massachusetts High School Basketball - Dennis-Yarmouth Regional topples Barnstable
January 25, 2022: Hyannis, MA 02601 In Tuesday's league outing, the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins (South Yarmouth, MA) basketball squad beat the host Barnstable Red Raiders (Hyannis, MA), by a count of 54-46.
The Dolphins (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks go into the Cape & Islands outing with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Monomoy knocked off Nantucket (Nantucket, MA), 51-22, in a league match.
With the defeat, Barnstable moves to 0-1 on the year. The Red raiders host Nantucket (Nantucket, MA) to meet the Whalers in a Cape & Islands match on Thursday, January 27. The Whalers enter the match with a record of 3-6. Nantucket lost 57-32 in their recent league match against Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA)
