January 25, 2022: Gilman, IL 60938 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) and the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), saw Beecher's basketball squad overcome Iroquois West by a tally of 53-37.
With the victory, Beecher improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to play the Chargers in a River Valley challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Illinois Lutheran lost 34-22 in their recent league challenge against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL)
Next up, the Raiders play the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Iroquois West will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record.
