Michigan High School Basketball - DeWitt over St. Johns
January 25, 2022: DeWitt, MI 48820 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) and the visiting St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI), saw DeWitt's basketball squad overcome St. Johns by a tally of 43-25.
With the victory, DeWitt improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Okemos (Okemos, MI) to confront the Chieftains in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Okemos lost 54-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI)
Next up, the Redwings confront the Mason Bulldogs (Mason, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Friday, January 28. St. Johns will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 61-24 non-league loss to Ionia (Ionia, MI).
