Illinois High School Basketball - Olympia crushes East Peoria
January 25, 2022: Stanford, IL 61774 Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 59-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olympia upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL) to clash with the Indians in a Illini Prairie bout on Thursday, January 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-17. Pontiac lost 44-35 in their recent league bout against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) in a Mid-Illini bout, on Thursday, January 27. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 75-27 non-league loss to Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL).
