Wisconsin High School Basketball - Northland Pines ripped by Wausau East
January 25, 2022: Eagle River, WI 54521 The Wausau East Lumberjacks basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Northland Pines Eagles to 52 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wausau West for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Friday, January 28. Wausau East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-46 league win over D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 14-3.
The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags enter the Great Northern contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Rhinelander triumphed over Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI), 65-41, in a non-league contest.
