Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Western Wayne topped by Scranton Prep
January 25, 2022: Scranton, PA 18509 The Scranton Prep Cavaliers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats to 32 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 contest on Friday, January 28. Scranton Prep will battle a Invaders team coming off a 47-31 non-league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Invaders record now stands at 2-8.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans come into the Lackawanna 2 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, North Pocono dropped by Scranton (Scranton, PA), 30-25, in a non-league contest.
