January 25, 2023: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) and the visiting Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), saw Chicago Christian's basketball squad knock off Shepard by a tally of 63-55.
With the victory, Chicago Christian improves its record to 6-17 on the campaign. The Knights host Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Metro Suburban challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Riverside-Brookfield won 66-48 in their recent league challenge against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)
Next up, the Astros play the St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Shepard will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 66-54 league loss to Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).
