The Luther Cougars (Maspeth, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Richmond Hill Lions (Richmond Hill, NY), 79-78 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Knox (St. James, NY). The Falcons go into the PSAL Area NYSAIS PSAA - Eastern test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Knox got by Lexington School for the Deaf (Jackson Heights, NY), 77-40, in a non-league test.
