January 25, 2023: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 In Wednesday's league outing, the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), by a count of 61-57.
The Green Wave (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Skippers go into the 5A District 6 outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Mandeville held off Slidell (Slidell, LA), 74-64, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Fontainebleau for a 5A District 6 outing on Friday, January 27. Northshore will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 83-81 league loss to Covington (Covington, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
