The Biggsville West Central Heat basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles to 46 in the Heat league triumph on Wednesday.

The Heat now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brimfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Biggsville West Central will battle a Indians team coming off a 39-31 non-league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Indians record now stands at 17-7.

The Golden Eagles (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Spartans enter the Lincoln Trail contest with a 8-16 record.
