California High School Basketball - Vallejo overwhelms Elite
January 25, 2023: Vallejo, CA 94590 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA) and the visiting Elite Eagles (Vallejo, CA), saw Vallejo's basketball squad wallop Elite by a tally of 67-17.
With the victory, Vallejo improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA) to play the Gauchos in a Tri-County - Stone challenge on Friday, January 27. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. El Cerrito lost 25-22 in their recent league challenge against Hercules (Hercules, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the John Adams Academy Patriots (Roseville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Elite will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 42-38 league loss to Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA).
