The Maroons now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bland County for a Mountain Empire battle on Friday, January 27. George Wythe will confront a Bears team coming off a 44-36 league loss to Galax (Galax, VA). The Bears record now stands at 7-10.
The G-Men (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado come into the Southwest battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Richlands beat Honaker (Honaker, VA), 46-39, in a non-league battle.
