In Wednesday's league outing, the Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) basketball squad edged the host New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH), by a margin of 56-50.

The Generals (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Scotties go into the Muskingum Valley outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Tri-Valley held off Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH), 58-25, in a league outing.
