January 25, 2023: Shakopee, MN 55379 St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Louis Park upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Orioles host Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN) to confront the Storm in a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. The Storm come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Chanhassen lost 78-50 in their recent non-league battle against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)
The Sabers (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Lakeville North was nudged by Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN), 74-48, in a non-league battle.
