New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Michael's thwarts Pojoaque Valley
January 25, 2023: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) basketball knocked off the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 34-24 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Horsemen (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Robertson notched a victory over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 32-21, in a non-league test.
The Elks/Elkettes now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Pojoaque Valley will encounter a Pintos squad coming off a 33-27 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 5-3.
