January 25, 2023: Great Mills, MD 20634 Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 69-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Great Mills upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to clash with the Warriors in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Rams clash with the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 70-40 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
