January 25, 2024: Alta, IA 95678 The Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) basketball felled the visiting West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), 60-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Northwest Webster was beaten by East Sac County (Lake View, IA), 75-66, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union for a War Eagle test on Friday, January 26. West Sioux will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 47-42 league win over Trinity Christian (Hull, IA). The Royals record now stands at 9-4.
