Louisiana High School Basketball - Assumption can't hold off East Feliciana
January 25, 2024: Napoleonville, LA 70390 The East Feliciana Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Assumption Mustangs to 47 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast for a 2A District 6 contest on Friday, January 26. East Feliciana will battle a Vikings team coming off a 72-45 non-league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 17-7.
The Mustangs (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, White Castle edged Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 58-36, in a league contest.
