The Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was toppled 49-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA)

The Crusaders now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steward for a Tidewater Independent battle on Friday, January 26. Catholic will confront a Spartans team coming off a 73-31 league win over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.

The Seahawks (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers come into the VISAA Division IV battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, StoneBridge beat TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA), 65-29, in a non-league battle.
