January 25, 2024: Garfield, NJ 07026 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), by a margin of 58-25.
The Thunderbirds (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Rutherford was trounced by Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ), 56-44, in a non-league outing.
The Boilermakers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Regional for a Bergen/Passaic - King outing on Monday, January 29. Garfield will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 10-8.
