Maine High School Basketball - Greely tops Marshwood
January 25, 2024: South Berwick, ME 03908 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) and the host Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), saw Greely's basketball squad knock off Marshwood by a count of 43-23.
With the victory, Greely upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Rangers host Noble (North Berwick, ME) to play the Knights in a A South challenge on Friday, February 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Hawks play the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a A South challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Marshwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 69-45 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME).
