The Warriors now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Webster for a Twin Lakes battle on Friday, January 26. Alta-Aurelia will battle a Cougars team coming off a 59-53 league win over East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
The Falcons (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union was routed by Trinity Christian (Hull, IA), 39-32, in a league bout.
