Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), saw Bishop McCort's basketball squad hold off Westmont Hilltop by a tally of 67-63.

With the victory, Bishop McCort improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Crushers host Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) to confront the Marauders in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Friday, February 2. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Monday, January 29. Westmont Hilltop will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 53-33 league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA).
