Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) and the visiting Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), saw Murphy's basketball squad wallop Blue Ridge Early College by a tally of 70-26.

With the victory, Murphy improves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 1A Smoky Mountain challenge on Friday, January 26. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Hayesville won 73-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Nantahala (Topton, NC)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, January 30.
