New Jersey High School Basketball - Hopatcong knocked off by Butler
January 25, 2024: Butler, NJ 07419 The Butler Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Hopatcong Chiefs to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester Regional for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Butler will meet a Falcons team coming off a 33-11 league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 3-12.
The Chiefs (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, High Point was outscored by Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ), 52-46, in a league contest.
