January 25, 2024: Pitkin, LA 70656 The Pitkin Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Cecilia Bulldogs to 7 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Hill for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Pitkin will battle a Eagles team coming off a 82-63 league loss to Simpson (Simpson, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 19-12.
The Bulldogs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Livonia (Livonia, LA). The Wildcats come into the 4A District 5 contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, Livonia triumphed over West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
