Missouri High School Basketball - Forsyth can't hold off Mountain Grove
January 25, 2024: Mountain Grove, MO 65711 The Mountain Grove Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Forsyth Panthers to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Mountain Grove will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 36-30 non-league win over Licking (Licking, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-9.
The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Licking (Licking, MO). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Licking was nudged by Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO), 36-30, in a non-league contest.
