In Thursday's league match, the visiting Rugby Panthers basketball team scored a good 43-28 triumph over the New Town Eagles.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks (Bismarck, ND) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 27. Rugby will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Skyhawks enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 58-46 league win over Hazen (Hazen, ND).
