The Smith Center Redmen basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Republic County Buffaloes to 24 in the Redmen non-league victory on Thursday.

The Redmen now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phillipsburg for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Smith Center will battle a Panthers team coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Hoisington (Hoisington, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
