Florida High School Basketball - Spruce Creek overwhelms Calvary Christian Academy
January 25, 2025: Port Orange, FL 32127 The Spruce Creek Hawks basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Lions to 43 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hawks now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they host New Smyrna Beach for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Spruce Creek will confront a Barracudas team coming off a 40-34 non-league win over Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL). The Barracudas record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Calvary Christian Academy falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Green Wave go into the game with a record of 8-11. Father Lopez lost 84-68 in their recent non-league game against Legacy Charter (Ocoee, FL)
