California High School Basketball - Oaks Christian victorious over Canyon
January 25, 2025: Canyon Country, CA 91351 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Oaks Christian Lions basketball team scored a good 77-61 triumph over the Canyon Cowboys.
The Lions (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA). The Panthers go into the Marmonte contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Newbury Park was toppled by Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA), 78-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys confront the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) in a Foothill contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Canyon will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 16-8 record after their 66-40 non-league win over Royal (Simi Valley, CA).
