In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team scored a good 49-40 triumph over the Cedar Creek Pirates.

The Mustangs (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits go into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, St. Augustine Prep was toppled by Eastern (Voorhees, NJ), 47-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National contest, on Monday, January 27.
