New Jersey High School Basketball - Johnson defeats Cranford
January 25, 2025: Clark, NJ 07066 The Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) basketball were winner over the visiting Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ), 62-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. Johnson will play a Pioneers team coming off a 72-57 non-league win over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, Cranford falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rahway (Rahway, NJ) to play the Indians in a Union County bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Rahway lost 53-35 in their recent league bout against Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ)
