California High School Basketball - Mira Costa bested by De La Salle
January 25, 2025: Concord, CA 94518 De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), 50-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, De La Salle advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Spartans host Foothill (Pleasanton, CA) to face the Falcons in a East Bay match on Tuesday, January 28. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 12-10. Foothill won 50-41 in their recent league match against Livermore (Livermore, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peninsula for a Bay match on Tuesday, January 28. Mira Costa will face a Panthers squad coming off a 71-28 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-15.
