Florida High School Basketball - Dr. Phillips can't hold off Master's Academy
January 25, 2025: Oviedo, FL 32765 Master's Academy Eagles (Oviedo, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL), 71-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Master's Academy advances its record to 18-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Melbourne (Melbourne, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 14-6. Melbourne lost 53-52 in their recent non-league match against Providence School (Jacksonville, FL)
The Panthers now own a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poinciana for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. Dr. Phillips will face a Eagles squad coming off a 74-50 non-league win over Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.
