Oklahoma High School Basketball - Kingston holds off Durant
January 25, 2025: Durant, OK 74701 The Kingston Redskins basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Durant Lions to 54 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Redskins now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Byng for a Lake Country test on Tuesday, January 28. Kingston will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 64-33 non-league loss to Purcell (Purcell, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.
The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers come into the 5A District 4 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Will Rogers College held off Pryor (Pryor, OK), 60-49, in a league test.
