New York High School Basketball - Lewiston-Porter holds off East Aurora
January 25, 2025: Youngstown, NY 14174 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lewiston-Porter Lancers basketball team scored a close 59-52 triumph over the East Aurora Blue Devils.
The Lancers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Niagara-Wheatfield (Sanborn, NY). The Falcons go into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Niagara-Wheatfield was tipped by Sweet Home (Amherst, NY), 72-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. East Aurora will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record.
