January 25, 2025: Fort Gibson, OK 74434 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) and the visiting Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK), observed Fort Gibson's basketball team overwhelm Sequoyah by a score of 86-51.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Verdigris Valley challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Wagoner was routed by Sequoyah (Claremore, OK), 55-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Sequoyah will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 48-43 non-league loss to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK).
