In Saturday's non-league test, the Harrison Huskies (Harrison, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), by a score of 56-35.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 2E test, on Tuesday, January 28. Harrison will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.

The Goldbacks (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears come into the Section 9 Orange County I test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Middletown bounced Port Chester (Port Chester, NY), 71-51, in a non-league test.
