In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Iona Prep Gaels basketball team scored a big 57-35 win over the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings.

The Gaels (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals come into the Catholic AA - New York contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Hayes was trounced by Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY), 73-72, in a league contest.
