Oklahoma High School Basketball - Luther overwhelms Marietta

January 25, 2025: Luther, OK 73054

The Luther Lions basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Marietta Indians to 46 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Crooked Oak for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Luther will confront a Ruf-Nex team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Deer Creek (Edmond, OK). The Ruf-Nex record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Marietta falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Dickson (Ardmore, OK) to confront the Comets in a Lake Country game on Tuesday, January 28. The Comets go into the game with a record of 10-6. Dickson lost 52-46 in their recent non-league game against Elgin (Elgin, OK)
