Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Richfield Tigers (Richfield, ID), 47-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mackay advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Miners host American Heritage (Idaho Falls, ID) to face the Patriots in a 1A Rocky Mountain match on Tuesday, January 28. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-12. American Heritage lost 56-22 in their recent league match against Challis (Challis, ID)

The Tigers now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockland for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29.
