New Jersey High School Basketball - Manville holds off Pompton Lakes
January 25, 2025: Manville, NJ 08835 The Manville Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Pompton Lakes Cardinals to 50 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Hunterdon for a Skyland - Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. Manville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-37 league loss to Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Pompton Lakes falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 15-2. Glen Rock won 43-31 in their recent league game against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ)
