The Toppenish Wildcats basketball squad (Toppenish, WA), was outscored 78-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA)

With the victory, Mead advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA) to meet the Falcons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 7-9. Ridgeline won 76-68 in their recent league battle against Ferris (Spokane, WA)

The Wildcats now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prosser for a 2A Central Washington battle on Tuesday, January 28. Toppenish will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 75-61 league win over East Valley (Yakima, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-4.
