Illinois High School Basketball - Metea Valley overwhelms Prosser
January 25, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502 The Metea Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Prosser Falcons to 40 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Elmwood Park for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Metea Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 59-34 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-12.
With the loss, Prosser falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Falcons host North Grand (Chicago, IL) to confront the Eagle Owls in a Chicago Public - White North game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagle Owls go into the game with a record of 7-8. North Grand lost 49-48 in their recent league game against Senn (Chicago, IL)
