In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Morgantown Mohigans basketball team scored a big 80-50 triumph over the Nitro Wildcats.

The Mohigans (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops go into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a Cardinal contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Nitro will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
