New Jersey High School Basketball - Trenton Central fells North Star Academy
January 25, 2025: Newark, NJ 07102 The Trenton Central Tornadoes basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host North Star Academy to 37 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tornadoes now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Pennington for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Trenton Central will confront a Red Hawks team coming off a 67-60 non-league win over Friends Select (Philadelphia, PA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, North Star Academy falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The travel to Hillside (Hillside, NJ) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Sunday, January 26. The Comets go into the game with a record of 8-7. Hillside lost 63-62 in their recent non-league game against New Providence (New Providence, NJ)
