January 25, 2025: Vanceburg, KY 41179 The Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) basketball were winner over the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 54-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Russell for a District 63 outing on Tuesday, January 28. Lewis County will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 15-3.
The Colonels (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 40 outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, George Rogers Clark overcame Henderson County (Henderson, KY), 55-49, in a non-league outing.
