West Virginia High School Basketball - Elk Valley Christian triumphant over New Life Christian Academy
January 25, 2025: Summersville, WV 26651 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Elk Valley Christian Eagles (Elkview, WV) and the host New Life Christian Academy Lions (Summersville, WV), observed Elk Valley Christian's basketball team overwhelm New Life Christian Academy by a margin of 47-8.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV). The Warriors come into the West Virginia Christian - AA challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Cross Lanes Christian was trounced by Mount Hope Christian Academy (Mount Hope, WV), 48-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Victory Baptist Academy Saints (Beaver, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. New Life Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 67-28 league win over Covenant (Barboursville, WV).
